About the Role
As a full-time finish carpenter, your job may require you to work on several different high-end projects. Carpenters work on everything from luxury homes to custom built-ins as well as unique items. As one of our family of carpenters, you’ll use your creative side to come up with solutions and create timelines to keep clients happy. The work will include cabinet making, installing high-end cabinetry and custom stair railing, treads, risers, crown molding, paneling, and base, and baseboards. The ideal candidate has an aptitude for precision. You’ll be asked to review drawings and work with a variety of others to meet and exceed the expectations of homeowners.
Requirements
What we expect from you:
10+ years of high-end carpentry experience
Thorough understanding of residential carpentry
Deep knowledge of construction quality methods
Aptitude in appropriate use of variety of construction tools
Make on-site decisions and develop creative solutions
Read, comprehend, and follow plans and specifications
Complete projects on-time while meeting and exceeding quality standards.
Enforce processes and procedures while making saftey first, in accordance with construction law, as well as local, and state building codes
Maintain clean and secure job sites at the end of each day
Coach and mentor new carpenters
Collaborate productively with project stakeholders including project managers, carpenters, subcontractors, and suppliers
