We're excited to introduce two new team members who are helping strengthen our operations and enhance the client experience behind the scenes: Kristy Robinson, Executive Assistant to our Director of Operations, and Micki Fedus, our Billing Maestro. While their roles may not place them on the jobsite every day, their contributions help support every project, every team member, and every client relationship we build.

As Executive Assistant to Director of Operations Ryan Friske, Kristy plays a key role in helping our teams operate efficiently and effectively. From streamlining employee performance processes and improving internal workflows to regularly visiting jobsites and supporting operational initiatives, she helps keep projects and people moving forward.

A Northern Michigan native and graduate of Central Michigan University, Kristy brings a positive, people-first approach to her work. Guided by the belief that everyone deserves grace and understanding, she helps foster the strong relationships and supportive culture that define Birchwood Construction.

Outside of work, Kristy enjoys making the most of Northern Michigan's summers, whether she's wakesurfing on the lake or spending time outdoors with family and friends.

As Birchwood's Billing Maestro, Micki helps ensure the financial side of every project runs smoothly. With a background in project support, billing, and administrative coordination within the mechanical and fire protection industries, she brings valuable experience and attention to detail to the Birchwood family.

Micki plays an important role in creating a seamless experience for both clients and project teams by helping maintain accurate billing processes, clear communication, and efficient project support.

Born and raised in Petoskey, Micki values family, collaboration, and continuous growth. One of her favorite pieces of advice is "1 + 1 = 11," a philosophy that reflects her belief that teamwork creates something greater than individual effort alone. When she's not in the office, Micki enjoys spending time with her husband, three teenagers, two dogs, and two cats. Whether traveling, camping, attending concerts, boating, or exploring Northern Michigan, she embraces every opportunity to create memories with her family.
