Project Manager
George works closely with contractors, designers, architects, and suppliers to bring their dedication and creativity to life, creating spaces clients will enjoy for generations. With a decade spent as a craftsman, he gained hands-on experience in every phase of custom construction, from framing and finish work to casework and furniture building. That foundation led to Project Manager. His time at Birchwood Construction Company has been shaped by strong relationships, shared values, and a culture defined by exceptional work ethic.
Outside of work, he and his wife, Jennifer, share the joy and constant entertainment of raising their energetic toddler, Nora. Alongside their dog (and their occasionally less enthusiastic cat), they spend their free time camping, hiking, and boating whenever Northern Michigan allows. Where there's a quiet moment, he's often found with one of his motorcycles - riding one or rebuilding another.
Best advice he's ever received: "Everyone is ailing from something." A simple truth that became his guiding principle. Extend goodwill and understanding toward people and life instantly becomes less stressful and more fulfilling.
Greatest adventure: "Fatherhood. I've spent much of my life believing preparation could see me through anything. Parenthood taught me otherwise, in the best possible way."
